Riyadh: Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel today launched the digital link between Seha Virtual Hospital and the Uzbek Ministry of Health at the headquarters of UZINFOCOM Single Integrator, following his visit to the Digital Health Center in Tashkent as part of his visit to Uzbekistan. The initiative strengthens the strategic partnership and supports high-quality healthcare cooperation and investment between Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the digital link between the two countries represents a major advancement in the integration of digital healthcare infrastructure, enabling direct communication channels that allow doctors across borders to save lives and provide immediate healthcare services, including round-the-clock consultations, diagnosis, and treatment, while overcoming geographical barriers. It also enables medical professionals to benefit from the expertise of Saudi doctors and exchange knowledge, contributing to the development of healthcare services in both countries.
The initiative builds on the Kingdom's globally recognized position in healthcare transformation and its leading experience in digital health and virtual medicine. It further strengthens the Kingdom's role as an international partner in healthcare cooperation, knowledge transfer, and healthcare investment, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to build a prosperous economy and reinforce the Kingdom's position as a global destination for healthcare investment.
