Hot and Dusty Conditions Expected in Riyadh and Eastern Regions

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted hot to extremely hot weather in parts of Riyadh and Eastern regions. Dust-stirring winds are expected to impact parts of Madinah and Makkah regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds are anticipated in the highlands of Jazan and Aseer regions. The weather conditions suggest varying wind speeds over different bodies of water.

Winds over the Red Sea are expected to be northwesterly to northerly, with speeds ranging from 18-38 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 10-35 km/h in the southern part. Waves may vary from half a meter to two meters, indicating relatively calm sea conditions.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central parts, and westerly to northwesterly in the southern part, with speeds of 10-28 km/h. Waves are expected to reach half a meter to one meter, ensuring calm sea conditions.
