Cairo: As part of its commitment to sustainable urban development, the Housing Program, an integral component of Saudi Vision 2030, will participate in the twelfth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF12) in Cairo, Egypt. The event is organized by the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat) and will take place from November 4 to 8, 2024. According to Saudi Press Agency, CEO Aiman Saleh will represent the Housing Program at a high-level dialogue session titled 'Advancing Inclusive Efforts for Housing Strategies Across the Arab Region.' The session aims to explore outcomes and opportunities to strengthen housing strategies and expand access to affordable housing. Insights from key government agencies within the housing sector will be featured, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in shaping inclusive housing solutions. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will have a significant presence at the forum with a pavilion spanning over 3,000 square meters. The pavilion will host a variety of activities, workshops, and dialogue sessions, with more than 40 interactive events planned. Over 150 representatives from Saudi entities are expected to participate, showcasing the Kingdom's advancements in sustainable urban planning. This participation underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to playing a leading role in the development of sustainable and inclusive urban environments.
