Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the Cabinet session held in Jeddah. At the beginning of the session, HRH the Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on his consultations with leaders from Oman, Egypt, and Greece, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Cabinet reviewed regional developments and condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's attacks on civilian and economic facilities in various Saudi cities, emphasizing the Kingdom's commitment to defending its sovereignty and ensuring the security of its citizens.
The Cabinet expressed Saudi Arabia's support for Arab efforts to address Israeli actions in Jerusalem and the occupied territories. It highlighted the Kingdom's active participation in international meetings to foster global cooperation and address challenges.
The Cabinet welcomed a new strategic dialogue memorandum with Germany and praised the success of the 26th Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit Research. It also commended the significant investments announced at LEAP 2026, reinforcing Saudi Arabia's role as an innovation hub.
Further, the Cabinet recognized the launch of new investment projects in the Water Industries sector as essential for developing local industry and global competitiveness.
Among the decisions issued, the Cabinet approved agreements with Spain on visa exemptions and with Switzerland on investment protection. It also authorized discussions on central banking cooperation with Indonesia and approved a memorandum for Arabic language cooperation with the Muslim World League.
