Jeddah: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today in Jeddah with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine. During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries, areas of cooperation, and opportunities to further develop them. They also discussed regional and international developments, foremost among them the situation in the Middle East and the latest developments in the Ukraine crisis.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting was attended by several key officials from both nations. From the Saudi side, Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, and Minister of State, Cabinet Member, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban were present. The Ukrainian delegation included Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha, and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov.
The discussions highlighted the mutual interest in strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new avenues for collaboration. Both leaders emphasized the importance of maintaining dialogue on pressing regional and international issues, particularly focusing on the Middle East's evolving dynamics and the ongoing Ukraine crisis.
