Human Resources Ministry Launches Intensive Inspection Campaign for Hajj Season

Makkah: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has begun an intensive inspection campaign for the 1447 AH Hajj season, targeting more than 6,000 field visits across Makkah, Madinah, and the holy sites to ensure establishments comply with labor regulations, particularly those related to temporary work visas and labor law provisions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the inspection visits were launched with the participation of Deputy Minister for Inspection and Work Environment Development Sattam Al-Harbi to assess field readiness. They include field checks in the central area of the Grand Mosque, visits to Hajj service establishments holding temporary work visas, and monitoring at key entry points such as Jeddah Islamic Port and King Abdulaziz International Airport.

Conducted in coordination with various government entities, these efforts aim to enhance compliance, detect violations, protect workers' rights, enforce safety standards, and ensure efficient operations, ultimately delivering safe, high-quality services to pilgrims throughout the season.
