Riyadh: The Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU) Academic Medical City has achieved a significant milestone in molecular and genomic diagnostics, with the molecular diagnostics laboratory at King Fahad University Hospital successfully completing the full clinical validation of Whole Exome Sequencing (WES). According to Saudi Press Agency, the achievement marks a major step forward in enhancing Medical City's capabilities in precision medicine and advanced genomic diagnostics, while expanding its capacity to provide specialized genetic testing.
