Riyadh: The Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), a member of the Islamic Development Bank Group, signed a reinsurance agreement with the Export-Import Bank of Pakistan (EXIM Bank of Pakistan) on Monday evening, marking another milestone in the partnership between the two institutions. According to Saudi Press Agency, the agreement was signed during ICIEC's mission to Pakistan and aims to strengthen EXIM Bank of Pakistan's capacity to manage risks. This will expand its ability to support Pakistani exporters through export credit insurance solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, ICIEC will provide reinsurance support for eligible export transactions. This will help enhance risk-sharing capacity and facilitate access to financing, enabling Pakistani businesses to pursue opportunities in regional and international markets.
