Imam Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Authority Reaffirms Grazing Restrictions to Protect Vegetation and Biodiversity

Riyadh: The Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve Development Authority has emphasized that grazing within the reserve is prohibited, except for local community members who hold official permits for designated grazing areas.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority stated that its environmental monitoring teams recorded more than 900 violations across the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve and the King Khalid Royal Reserve in 2025.

It affirmed that penalties will be enforced against those who violate grazing regulations to protect the reserve's vegetation and biodiversity. The authority also urged the public to obtain information related to grazing through its official website and communication channels.
