Makkah, Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, Imam of the Grand Mosque, delivered a speech during the KAICIID Global Dialogue Forum in Lisbon, Portugal about the significance of dialogue and how it became necessary to achieve complete peace and anchor moral values in all societies and prevent hatred and extremism. He noted that Islam is a religion that is based on justice and equality between people and enables forgiveness and moderation between the people and states. Dr. bin Humaid's participation in the forum echoes the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' message for moderation and highlights the significance of the Grand Mosque's Imams. The KAICIID Global Dialogue Forum is a vital platform to promote human dignity and global solidarity by adopting dialogue as an effective mechanism to address contemporary global challenges, including peacebuilding and supporting positive societal change. The forum was attended by 150 participants, including religious leaders, current and former heads of state, UN leaders, c ivil society representatives, and youth delegations.
