Moroni: The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), in collaboration with the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Centre (UNCCT), recently concluded a comprehensive five-day legal training program in Moroni, Comoros. The initiative was aimed at enhancing the capacity of member states to effectively combat terrorist financing and money laundering.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the program brought together 30 specialists from various sectors, including financial, regulatory, and military fields. The training combined theoretical knowledge with practical consulting, aimed at boosting the participants' professional capabilities. This approach was designed to enable them to implement and adapt the acquired expertise within their respective national institutions.
The joint effort between IMCTC and UNCCT highlights a concerted commitment to fortifying institutional frameworks against financial crimes associated with terrorism.
