Riyadh: The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) held a symposium in Mal©, Maldives, focusing on the manifestations of intellectual extremism within educational environments.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event was attended by Maldivian Minister of State for Defense Aishath Safoora, along with other high-ranking officials and educators. This symposium is part of the IMCTC's broader initiative aimed at protecting communities from extremist ideology.
The academic programs discussed during the symposium aim to enhance intellectual awareness among teachers, families, and local communities. The goal is to enable educational institutions to bolster students' intellectual resilience while fostering an environment rooted in the values of moderation and tolerance.
