Riyadh: The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) today welcomed a delegation from multiple countries for a course focused on enhancing loyalty and countering extremism. The event is being conducted at the Institute of Religious Affairs of the Armed Forces in Saudi Arabia. The Secretary-General of the IMCTC, Maj. Gen Mohammed bin Saeed al-Moghedi, personally received the delegation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the delegation received a comprehensive briefing on IMCTC's working methodology. The briefing highlighted the coalition's ongoing efforts, strategic initiatives, and training programs related to counterterrorism.
The delegation also toured the IMCTC headquarters, gaining insights into its research, studies, and key publications. They were briefed on the latest developments concerning terrorist groups and incidents worldwide. The tour included a look into monitoring and follow-up mechanisms facilitated by the specialized situation room.
