Riyadh: The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) has launched a strategic initiative to combat the financing of terrorism, with a focus on curbing funding activities that pose a threat to Palestinian society.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative seeks to enhance the analytical capabilities of trainees and improve their skills in collecting and analyzing critical data related to the funding of terrorist groups and money laundering. This effort supports regional and international cooperation in confronting groups that destabilize communities.
The IMCTC initiative covers several key areas, including understanding funding and money laundering techniques used by extremist groups through banks and financial institutions, as well as utilizing modern technology to detect suspicious financial activities.
