Riyadh: The training camp for the fourth edition of the Industrial Hackathon 2025 is set to commence tomorrow, organized by the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF). This two-day camp aims to channel the creativity of participants and transform their ideas into innovative industrial solutions, aligning with the Kingdom's vision to enhance innovation and bolster the industrial sector.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the camp will host 229 participants, grouped into 60 teams, and will focus on four primary tracks: design, production, sustainability, and automation. This training phase is a significant precursor to the final event, which will include a closing ceremony and an Industrial Hackathon exhibition.
The final event is scheduled for Saturday, with prizes totaling over SAR1,700,000. The ceremony will be graced by the presence of Bandar Alkhorayef, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the SIDF Board, who will honor the winners and participants.
