Riyadh: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) President Dr. Munir Eldesouki have inaugurated the global 'PeerLink' platform aimed at accelerating digital industrial transformation for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The launch took place during the Third Saudi Forum for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with notable participation from Jeremy Jurgens, Managing Director and Head of the World Economic Forum's Centre for Frontier Technologies and Innovation and Centre for Cybersecurity.
According to Saudi Press Agency, PeerLink is tailored to empower SMEs by expediting their digital transformation processes. The platform provides a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment that connects entrepreneurs, experts, and technology partners on both local and global scales. This initiative is designed to enhance SMEs' ability to integrate advanced technologies, thereby allowing them to remain competitive in domestic and international markets.
