Industry Minister Explores Investment Opportunities in Industry and Mining with US and French Officials

Los angeles: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef met in Los Angeles with US Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment Jacob Helberg. The meeting addressed ways to enhance cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors, key joint investment opportunities, and prospects for developing strategic partnerships that support sustainable economic growth in both countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Alkhorayef also met with France's Ambassador for International Investments Pascal Cagni. The two sides reviewed opportunities to strengthen industrial and mining cooperation, develop investment partnerships, and expand collaboration between Saudi Arabia and France in priority sectors.

During both meetings, the minister stressed the Kingdom's commitment to expanding cooperation with international partners, strengthening strategic partnerships, and attracting quality investments in targeted sectors, in line with Saudi Vision 2030. He also highlighted the Kingdom's attractive and stable investment environment, which supports growth in the industrial and mining sectors.

The meetings took place on the sidelines of Alkhorayef's participation in the Milken Institute Global Conference 2026 in Los Angeles, as part of the Kingdom's efforts to build strategic international partnerships that support the development of the industrial and mining sectors and reinforce its position as a leading industrial power and global hub for mining and minerals.
