Industry Minister Inaugurates Al Hatab Foods Factory in Sudair

Sudair: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef on Monday inaugurated Al Hatab Foods fresh food factory, one of the Kingdom's leading national projects in the fresh food sector. The facility, located in Sudair City for Industry and Businesses, is the largest of its kind in the Middle East, aiming to support the growth of the food manufacturing industry and strengthen the food security ecosystem.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during his tour, the minister observed the plant's production and packaging operations, as well as the advanced manufacturing technologies used to produce fresh chilled foods. The facility employs modern methods that minimize bacterial growth and naturally extend shelf life without the use of preservatives or heat treatments, preserving product quality and nutritional value.

The chilled food factory features 15 production lines capable of manufacturing a wide range of fresh food products, with a weekly production capacity exceeding 6 million units to meet growing domestic demand. The factory produces and packages more than 500 fresh products designed for small families, young consumers, and tourists, by offering convenient and high-quality products that reflect the development of the Kingdom's fresh food industry.
