Jeddah: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef on Tuesday inaugurated a Siniora Food Industries Company factory with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of chilled and frozen foods and an investment of SAR150 million, representing a significant addition to the Kingdom's food industry sector.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the minister also launched a specialized food manufacturing project alongside Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) Chief Executive Officer Eng. Majed Al-Argoubi.
Minister Alkhorayef visited the second and third industrial cities in Jeddah, inspecting several industrial facilities and infrastructure projects. He toured the factory of Seara Arabia Food Industrial Company, a strategic investment in localizing food production in the Kingdom with an investment of SAR320 million, including the new expansion and an annual production capacity exceeding 30,000 tons of chilled and frozen foods.
