Riyadh: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef visited Al-Khayyat Red Brick Factories, one of the Kingdom's pioneering manufacturers in the red brick industry, as part of the ministry's efforts to support national industries and promote the transition toward safer and more sustainable industrial practices. During the visit, the minister reviewed the factory's operations, production lines, and ongoing technological upgrades aimed at improving production efficiency, enhancing output quality, and strengthening the competitiveness of national products in the local market.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Minister Alkhorayef launched the factory's liquid fuel replacement initiative and the ministry's Industrial Sector Competitiveness Program, a strategic step that significantly reduces operational costs and enhances occupational safety by minimizing risks associated with conventional fuels. The initiatives improve energy efficiency in industrial facilities and lower carbon emissions, supporting the Kingdom's environmental sustainability goals under Saudi Vision 2030.
