Industry Minister Reviews Makkah’s Industrial Readiness for Hajj Season 1447 AH

Makkah: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef visited several industrial and logistics facilities in Makkah's First and Second Industrial Cities yesterday to assess the efficiency of their operational readiness to meet the demands of the Hajj season 1447 AH.

According to Saudi Press Agency, at the First Industrial City, the minister reviewed the purified water production and bottling operations at a factory with an annual capacity exceeding 35 million bottles, which plays a key role in supporting water supplies for pilgrims.

At the Second Industrial City, the minister inspected the production lines of a company that produces more than 20 million ready-made meals annually. The industrial cities in Makkah Region host 640 food factories that manufacture products using Saudi expertise to meet the needs of pilgrims and serve regional and international markets.
