Jeddah: The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources showcased the industrial empowerment ecosystem and enablers available to national factories during a dedicated session on initiatives and opportunities to enhance the competitiveness of Saudi industry. This session was held on Tuesday as part of the first day of the Saudi Industry Forum in Jeddah, in the presence of investors, entrepreneurs, and industry stakeholders.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the session opened with an introductory presentation outlining the enablers offered by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and other entities within the industrial ecosystem to stimulate industrial investment. The presentation highlighted support available to national factories across several key areas, including infrastructure, advisory services, financial solutions, a competitive business environment, local content and human capital development, and programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of industrial establishments.
The ministry outlined the expected benefits of these industrial enablers, including creating more jobs in the industrial sector, streamlining transport and supply chain operations, improving the investment environment and ease of doing business, and supporting the growth of small and medium-sized industrial enterprises in cities.
