Integrated Services Mobilized for Pilgrim Dispatch from Miqat Dhul-Hulaifah to Makkah

Madinah: The dispatch of pilgrims from Miqat Dhul-Hulaifah to Makkah represents one of the most prominent organizational efforts by relevant authorities in Madinah, carried out through an integrated system involving security, service, and operational entities to ensure the smooth and safe movement of pilgrims toward the holy sites via the Hijrah Road.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the miqat is currently witnessing a peak influx of pilgrims, with precise dispatch plans relying on scheduled timelines and coordinated bus movements. Field teams manage crowd flow and bus operations, while security teams operate around the clock to monitor compliance and respond to emergencies.

The miqat facilities are equipped with restrooms, ablution areas, drinking water, and services for older people and people with disabilities, alongside continuous cleaning and maintenance.

Guidance teams direct pilgrims in several languages on entering the Ihram (the intention to enter into the ritual state of Hajj or Umrah) state and performing rituals, supported by awareness booklets, directional signs, and electronic screens. Modern technical systems further enhance crowd monitoring and operational efficiency.
