Makkah: Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz received Minister of Interior of the Syrian Arab Republic Anas Khattab at the ministry's headquarters in Makkah. During their meeting, the two officials explored areas of existing cooperation and security coordination between the two countries and discussed topics of mutual interest.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Syrian interior minister expressed appreciation for the successful Hajj season conducted by the Kingdom. He highlighted the significant level of care provided to pilgrims and praised the Kingdom's advanced organizational and operational capabilities. These efforts have ensured a safe and smooth environment for pilgrims from their arrival in the Kingdom until the completion of their rituals. Additionally, he commended the integrated services and efficient crowd management during the season.
The meeting was attended by several senior officials, indicating the importance of the discussions between the two interior ministries.
