Interior Ministry Celebrates Founding Day with Enthusiastic Participation

Mecca: The Ministry of Interior celebrated Founding Day, observed annually on February 22, with the attendance of its civilian and military personnel. The ceremony featured dedicated displays in the lobby of the ministry's headquarters reflecting the national occasion, highlighting the founding of the Saudi state, its deep-rooted history, rich heritage, and proud present.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry's personnel expressed their pride in this day, which commemorates the epic beginning of the Saudi state and its history extending to the present. The celebration marked the unity of purpose and cohesion following periods of division, both of which have continued through the era of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
