As part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's proactive efforts to combat the activities of criminal networks involved in drug trafficking, the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC), has successfully monitored a smuggling operation involving 207 kilograms of methamphetamine (Shabu) concealed within a wooden box. The shipment was headed from the country of production to Malaysia and was seized in coordination with the relevant Malaysian authorities. The ministry affirmed the Kingdom's ongoing international efforts to combat drug trafficking activities in cooperation and coordination with similar and relevant agencies in brotherly and friendly countries.
