Riyadh: The General Administration of Medical Services at the Ministry of Interior has affirmed that the Cabinet's approval for it to join the International Hospital Federation (IHF) marks a strategic step in strengthening its healthcare system.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the administration said the move also underscores its standing among leading healthcare institutions, strengthens the Kingdom's global healthcare presence, supports alignment with international developments in the health sector, and contributes to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The step builds on the great attention given by the Kingdom's leadership to developing the healthcare sector and improving quality of life, with the support and follow-up of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the administration said.
These efforts further enhance the efficiency of the ministry's healthcare services, which serve as a leading national model of institutional excellence and healthcare delivery.
The administration emphasized that its membership in the IHF opens broad horizons for cooperation with leading healthcare institutions worldwide. It will also enable the exchange of expertise and knowledge and provide access to global best practices in hospital management, institutional excellence, healthcare innovation, quality and safety of care, and health leadership.
