Riyadh: The sixth International Conference and Exhibition on Sport Sciences and Physical Activity began in Riyadh on Monday under the theme 'Hosting Sporting Events.' The event is held under the patronage of Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal and is organized by King Saud University, represented by the College of Sport Sciences and Physical Activity.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference will last for two days, featuring numerous scientific sessions on hosting sporting events. It has attracted experts and scholars from the United States, Europe, and Asia, alongside participants from Saudi Arabia and other Arab and Gulf nations and representatives of local and international sports bodies.
The first day included several sessions led by specialists in sports event hosting from both within and outside the Kingdom, followed by the opening of the accompanying international sports exhibition at King Saud University, which features participation from more than 50 local and international sports entities and companies.
