Makkah: Under the patronage of Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Kassabi, the third edition of the Makkah Halal Forum 2026 will take place from February 14 to 16 at the Makkah Chamber for Exhibitions and Events Center. The forum aims to develop the global halal sector by establishing strategic partnerships across government, semi-government, and private sectors, bringing together organizations from over 16 countries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event will enhance trust and integration within the halal industry, serving as a platform for leaders and decision-makers to shape its future. Following the success of past editions, this year's forum aims to attract more specialists, representatives, and heads of commerce chambers globally.
The program includes panel discussions, bilateral meetings, and workshops designed to foster partnerships and increase trade agreements between local and international companies. This initiative coincides with the global halal industry's rapid growth, valued at approximately $2.42 trillion in 2023, projected to reach $3.36 trillion by 2028.
The forum will also feature specialized programs on entrepreneurship, franchising, and import-export operations, along with the Halal Experts Corner, which will assess companies' readiness for halal certification.
