Islamic Affairs Minister Launches ‘Fiqh of Hajj Rituals’ Program for 1447 AH Hajj Season

Riyadh: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance and General Supervisor of the Ministry's Hajj, Umrah and Visitation Works Sheikh Abdullatif Al Alsheikh today launched the 'Fiqh of Hajj Rituals' program at the ministry headquarters.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program is supervised by the Ministry's Agency for Dawah and Guidance. It focuses on explaining the rulings, manner, and etiquettes of Hajj, and aims to enhance the role of preachers and mosque employees during the 1447 AH Hajj season. The initiative is being conducted in cooperation with the Institute of Imams and Khatibs.

The program is part of the ministry's ongoing dawah efforts to serve pilgrims, spread Sharia knowledge, and enhance religious awareness during the Hajj season. It provides scientific and foundational content that reinforces the correct creed and emphasizes the importance of Hajj rituals in accordance with the Quran, Sunnah, and the understanding of the righteous predecessors of the nation.

This initiative includes several scientific and dawah-related themes, with a focus on explaining the rulings of Hajj and Umrah, types of rituals, prohibitions during Hajj, and rulings related to sacrifices and offerings. Additionally, it features awareness programs that highlight the role of khatibs and mosque employees during Hajj, emphasizing the importance of adhering to instructions and cooperating with entities working to serve pilgrims.
