Islamic Affairs Ministry Achieves International Recognition with ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the Agency for Planning and Digital Transformation, has received ISO 9001:2015 international quality certification. The certification acknowledges the ministry's adherence to quality management system standards that align with international requirements and specifications in areas such as strategic planning, quality management, performance measurement, continuous improvement, documented information management, and beneficiary experience measurement (IAF:35).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for Planning and Digital Transformation, Engineer Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Thunayan, stated that acquiring the ISO certification is a testament to the ministry's dedicated efforts. It signifies the ministry's commitment to adopting best practices and international standards in quality management, thereby enhancing operational efficiency.

Al-Thunayan further explained that the implementation of the quality management system has fortified institutional work methodologies, standardized procedures, and improved operational efficiency. Additionally, it supports performance measurement and continuous improvement while enhancing documented information management and beneficiary experience measurement. These initiatives are aimed at improving service quality and increasing beneficiary satisfaction.
