Islamic Affairs Ministry Concludes Moderation Program for Scholarship Students

Madinah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance yesterday concluded a training program on moderation and balance, which targeted scholarship students at Saudi universities, at Taibah University in Madinah. The program addressed a number of personal and professional competencies needed by Islamic preachers.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program also included specialized themes in effective communication skills and constructive dialogue, leadership capacity building, and teamwork in fields of dawah. Additionally, it focused on developing skills for dealing with individuals holding differing ideas and beliefs with wisdom and good counsel, personal planning for the preacher's career path, and measuring the impact of dawah.

These programs fall within the ministry's efforts to entrench the approach of moderation and balance, aiming to academically and professionally qualify scholarship students to be positive role models in dawah. The initiative seeks to contribute to conveying the true image of Islam based on moderation, tolerance, and wisdom.
