Madinah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, through its branch in Madinah Region, has distributed 1,595,740 multilingual religious, awareness, and guidance publications during the first half of 2026.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative is a part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to raise awareness among Umrah performers, pilgrims, and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque about the teachings of Islam and the rites they perform. The campaign aligns with the principles of moderation and balance.
The distributed materials include religious and educational books, as well as awareness brochures that explain Islamic teachings and rituals. In addition to printed materials, the ministry has provided access to its electronic Islamic library through a QR code. This digital service offers thousands of translated Islamic books and publications in multiple languages, aiming to deliver religious and educational content to Umrah performers and pilgrims through modern digital technologies.
