Islamic Affairs Ministry Distributes Quran Copies to Yemeni Pilgrims at Al-Wadiah Crossing

Sharurah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by its branch in Najran Region, is actively distributing the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift of Holy Quran copies to Yemeni pilgrims. These pilgrims are departing through the Al-Wadiah border crossing in Sharurah Governorate after completing the 1447 AH Hajj rituals.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry's field teams are overseeing the distribution under a carefully designed organizational plan. This plan aims to ensure that the procedures remain smooth and that the holy gifts are delivered to the pilgrims before their departure. The distributed materials include copies of the Holy Quran as well as translations of its meanings in more than 80 languages. These translations, issued by the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex in Madinah, provide an opportunity for pilgrims to understand the Holy Quran in their native languages.

This initiative is part of a broader ministry plan to distribute approximately 1.9 million copies of the Holy Quran and its translations to departing pilgrims. The distribution covers various points of departure, including land, air, and sea ports across the Kingdom, ensuring that the spiritual needs of pilgrims are met as they return to their home countries.
