Islamic Affairs Ministry Enhances Pilgrim Guidance with Video Call Service in Madinah

Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, through its branch in Madinah Region, has launched a video call service at Al-Qiblatain Mosque and Sayyid Al-Shuhada Mosque to answer inquiries from pilgrims and worshippers. The initiative is part of the ministry's operational plan for the 1447 AH Hajj season and reflects its ongoing efforts to enhance religious outreach and guidance services.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the service uses smart devices to provide direct audio and video communication with a select group of scholars and translators in more than 30 languages. Pilgrims and visitors can receive reliable answers to questions related to acts of worship, Hajj rituals, and other religious matters in their native languages.

Introduced at high-traffic locations during Hajj, the service leverages digital solutions to improve access to religious guidance and enhance the quality of awareness services provided to worshippers.
