Islamic Affairs Ministry Expands Services at Mount Arafat for Umrah Season

Makkah:Mount Arafat: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is intensifying its efforts to enhance awareness services for visitors at Mount Arafat during the ongoing 1448 AH Umrah season. These initiatives aim to assist the influx of Umrah performers arriving in Makkah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry, through the General Secretariat for Islamic Awareness during Hajj, Umrah, and Visitation, is implementing programs to spread religious awareness and provide accurate information to pilgrims. The services include setting up Islamic awareness booths and offering technical resources near Mount Arafat and Namira Mosque.

A team of qualified preachers and translators is actively involved in guiding visitors by answering inquiries and providing religious advice in multiple languages. Additionally, the ministry is distributing awareness booklets in various international languages to ensure clear communication to the diverse group of visitors.

These initiatives are in line with the ministry's mission to serve pilgrims, promote religious understanding, and uphold the values of moderation and balance. They also highlight Saudi Arabia's dedication to enhancing the experience of visitors to the Two Holy Mosques, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
