Islamic Affairs Ministry Hosts Iftar Banquet in Mal©

Mal©: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance organized an iftar banquet for fasting individuals at the Islamic Center of Maldives. The event was facilitated through the Religious Attach© at the Saudi Embassy in New Delhi and the Supervisor of the Ministry's Affairs in the Republic of Maldives.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the banquet is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Program for Iftar for Fasting Persons, being implemented by the ministry during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH. The event saw the attendance of Maldivian Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Saudi Ambassador to the Maldives Yahya Al-Qahtani, several Islamic figures, and approximately 300 fasting individuals.

Ambassador Al-Qahtani expressed appreciation to the leadership for its ongoing support and care for Muslims globally. He emphasized the Kingdom's dedication to addressing their needs, especially during Ramadan.

The ministry's implementation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Program for Iftar for Fasting Persons extends to 70 countries during Ramadan this year, showcasing the Kingdom's commitment to serving Islam and Muslims.
