Islamic Affairs Ministry Launches Iftar and Date Distribution Programs in Ghana

Accra: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, through its religious attach© at the Kingdom's embassy in Nigeria, has implemented the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' programs for iftar and the distribution of dates in Accra. This initiative was marked by a ceremony attended by senior officials, scholars, and preachers.

According to Saudi Press Agency, a total of 10 tons of dates have been allocated for distribution, benefiting around 40,000 people. The iftar program is set to serve over 15,000 fasting individuals from eligible groups.

This initiative embodies the Kingdom's humanitarian approach, aiming to support brotherly nations, enhance Islamic solidarity, and promote moderation and balance.
