Doha:Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group Chairman Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser met with Algerian Minister of Finance and IsDB Governor Mohammed Lamine Lebbou during the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank's annual meeting.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening their strategic partnership and accelerating the implementation of the 2025-2027 Country Engagement Framework. They also considered expanding cooperation in Islamic finance, trade finance, and investment and export credit insurance.
Dr. Al Jasser reiterated the IsDB Group's commitment to supporting Algeria's development priorities. This commitment builds on a longstanding partnership, which has already resulted in $3.1 billion in cumulative financing for Algeria.
