Jazan Municipality Expands Parks and Playgrounds to Boost Public Facilities

Riyadh: Efforts by the Jazan Municipality to develop public facilities and expand the establishment and refurbishment of parks and playgrounds between 2022 and 2026 have increased the number of parks from 120 to 268 and playgrounds from 101 to 244. These initiatives are enhancing recreational opportunities and improving quality of life for residents and visitors. According to Saudi Press Agency, official spokesperson for the Jazan Municipality, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Khayyat, stated that the beneficiary satisfaction index for public facilities increased significantly, rising from 51% in 2022 to 96.4% in 2026. This reflects the positive impact of development and refurbishment projects in raising facility standards and efficiency, while creating recreational environments that better meet the needs of diverse segments of society.
