Jeddah: The Jeddah Municipality has prepared 12 beaches and waterfront destinations for the summer season through a comprehensive safety and operations plan that includes 66 lifeguards and 34 supervisors to enhance safety and ensure compliance with beach regulations. According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality will continue daily inspections to ensure beach readiness and visitor safety amid increased waterfront traffic during the summer holiday and post-Hajj season. Beachgoers are encouraged to follow safety guidelines, swim only between sunrise and sunset, stay within designated swimming areas, follow lifeguards' instructions, and closely supervise children. These efforts support the municipality's goals of improving quality of life, enhancing marine safety, and further developing Jeddah's coastal attractions.
