Amman: Jordan will host a pivotal meeting on Wednesday with the foreign ministers of Arab states that are members of the Arab Ministerial Committee. This committee is tasked with confronting illegal Israeli policies and measures in occupied Jerusalem. The meeting will also be attended by the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States and the foreign ministers of Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, and Malaysia.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the agenda will focus on the situation in Jerusalem, particularly concerning its Islamic and Christian holy sites. The aim is to formulate a unified stance against escalating Israeli measures that are viewed as illegal and as threats to the identity of Jerusalem and its holy sites.
The Arab Ministerial Committee includes Jordan, Tunisia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Iraq, Palestine, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco, and the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States. This gathering reflects a collective effort to address the challenges facing Jerusalem and to seek international support for their cause.
