Judges Finalize Recitations for Quran and Sunnah Contestants in Dakar

Dakar: The judging committee for the second Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Competition for the Memorization of the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah in African countries has concluded its work. Organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, the competition features participants representing 53 African nations and is being held in Dakar, Senegal.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the committee concluded its recitation sessions yesterday for all 100 participants.

The closing ceremony, to be held today, will honor the winners of the competition's prizes, totaling more than SAR2.1 million, in recognition of their excellence in memorizing the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah.
