Geneva: Minister of Justice Walid Al-Samaani met with Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Daren Tang during his visit to WIPO headquarters in Geneva. During this significant meeting, the minister reviewed key developments in Saudi Arabia's judicial sector, which have been supported by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and followed up by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, particularly in the area of specialized legislation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, on the sidelines of the meeting, both sides signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing cooperation in publishing judicial rulings related to intellectual property. This MoU is intended to contribute to knowledge exchange and the development of judicial practices at both local and international levels.
