Justice Minister: Volunteer Work Strengthens Social Justice and Vision 2030 Goals

Riyadh: Minister of Justice Walid Al-Samaani has affirmed that volunteer work within the judicial system is a key pillar in advancing social justice and empowering the non-profit sector, in line with Saudi Vision 2030's goals to promote volunteering and strengthen its contribution to national development.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the minister explained that the Ministry of Justice is actively supporting non-profit organizations and empowering their volunteer initiatives in the delivery of judicial services. These efforts help provide assistance to those in need and improve access to legal and judicial services for all users.

He noted that the ministry's volunteer initiatives have delivered a significant societal impact, with more than 5,000 volunteers participating in over 1,000 diverse opportunities. Together, they have contributed more than 200,000 volunteer hours, including legal consultations, advocacy services, and various community programs.

The minister added that the ministry continues to develop the judicial volunteering framework in partnership with the non-profit sector. This collaboration enhances preventive justice, fosters a culture of legal awareness, and expands access to judicial services across all segments of society.
