Jeddah:Terminal 4 at King Abdulaziz International Airport has initiated its phased operations as of Sunday, September 27, 2026, as part of Jeddah Airports Company's strategy to enhance facilities, boost operational efficiency, and accommodate increased passenger traffic.
According to Saudi Press Agency, flights operated by Wizz Air, AJet, and SalamAir have been relocated to Terminal 4, with additional airlines set to transition gradually. Fly Jinnah and Nesma Airlines are scheduled to move on Monday, September 28, followed by Akasa Air on Tuesday, September 29; SyrianAir and Pegasus on Thursday, October 1; and Azerbaijan Airlines and Tunisair on Saturday, October 3.
Terminal 4, covering 97,000 square meters, can handle up to 15 million passengers annually. It is equipped with advanced operational systems and modern facilities, including a dedicated area for processing group check-ins for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. In 2025, King Abdulaziz International Airport achieved its highest-ever traffic volume, serving 53.4 million passengers.
