King Faisal University Hosts Innovative Factory for Food and Environmental Industries

King Faisal University is hosting an innovative factory for food and environmental industries, covering a total area of 1.4 million square meters. This initiative is part of the "Rafid" program launched by Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef aimed at establishing innovative factories in universities and technical colleges across the Kingdom, fostering effective partnerships with academic institutions. Acting University President Muhanna Al-Dalami emphasized the significance of such initiatives in boosting universities' role in the industrial renaissance in Saudi Arabia, focusing on promising sectors within the national industrial strategy. Al-Dalami also highlighted that the university's ambitious project, "Al-Ahsa Oasis for Innovation and Technology," will be a strategic partner in the factory's success.
