King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language Organizes Training Courses for Media Professionals

Riyadh: At the Saudi Media Forum 2026, the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language organized two specialized training courses targeting media professionals, content creators, and those interested in media affairs, with the aim of contributing to the development of linguistic skills and enhancing awareness of professional practices related to the Arabic language in the modern media context.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the first course -- presented by Dr. Afrah Al-Tamimi and titled 'The Journey of Media Terminology Development' -- covered several themes, including the concept and importance of media terminology in shaping media discourse, the stages of the emergence and evolution of media terminology across different media environments, the key challenges facing media terminology amid technological transformations and rapid digital advancement, and the role of linguistic institutions in regulating and standardizing media terminology.

Through its participation in the forum, the academy continues to affirm its commitment to developing the linguistic competencies of media professionals and content creators, enabling them to produce high-quality Arabic content that enhances the role of the Arabic language in digital media and ensures its effective presence across various communication platforms and the media landscape, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
