Abu Dhabi:Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has extended an invitation to United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to attend the second GCC-EU Summit, scheduled to be hosted by Saudi Arabia this October.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the invitation was conveyed by Saudi Ambassador to the UAE Sultan Al-Angari during a meeting with UAE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, at the ministry's headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, discussions were held on enhancing cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the European Union, along with shared goals for the success of the forthcoming summit.
