Riyadh: King Saud University has reinforced its regional and international presence in the field of human capital development and management by participating in two specialized human resources summits held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE, on October 22 and 23. The university was represented by Chief Human Resources Officer Abdulmajeed Alqusaibi, who earned two prestigious awards during the events.
According to Saudi Press Agency, at the HRSE Dubai (HR Summit and Expo) 2025, Alqusaibi was honored with the CHRO of the Year Award for 2025 in recognition of his distinguished career and achievements in leading organizational transformation, empowering talent, and fostering a culture of appreciation in the workplace. The university delegation participated in panel discussions covering the future of work, digital transformation, artificial intelligence in human resources, organizational culture, and employee empowerment.
At the 13th Annual GOV HR and Youth Summit in Abu Dhabi, the university showcased its key HR initiatives and development projects, exploring opportunities for collaboration and institutional partnerships with governmental and private-sector entities in the region. During the summit, Alqusaibi also received the People-First Leader Award 2025 for the public and private sectors, honoring his efforts to instill a people-first culture within organizational workplaces.
